showing players on empty server

hi i have a new etpro server and would love to get people but they dont go on if empty :stuck_out_tongue: anyways iv seen servers that say they have like 6 players online but when you click server info its empty, whats the cvar that i can use to trick players into thinking theres people on server, it has been done i see it all the time, says 7 players online i click on server, (No redirect) then server empty so must be a way :stuck_out_tongue: how do i do it?

There is no cvar it’s a program. Nobody wants you to use it since it ruins the game, don’t you find it annoying to join a server only to realize it’s empty?

I’ve also never heard of that program being mentioned on these forums (changing the player count). So you’d be better off trying elsewhere.

Relatively few pubbers will stick around to play ETPro anyway because most of them want XP-save, shotguns, throwing knives, poison needles, molotov cocktails, poison gas bombs, sound packs, skin mods, and all the other bull**** that has made ET unrecognizable. :mad:

  • find a handful of people to play with you
  • play regularly with them on your server
  • other people will connect
  • a steady playerbase will establish
  • profit

If I connect to a server which has fake playernumbers I will try to remember its name and say “**** you!” everytime I see it on the list and never ever connect to it again regardless of actual players. Don’t do this!
