Show your support for brink

(its al bout security) #1

I just wanted to pull a reverse on the hate threads and wanted a general consensus how many of us still love the game, things you enjoy just to pull the community hopefully people who do enjoy the game can pump the game up for those who come here skeptical on the game and its concepts. im just thinking if you can show the game some positive energy and hopefully re-energize the community.

so unleash the things that make you happy about this game:)

or just put a little bit have your face in here just to let people know you do support our game of choice!

running around trying to knife people with mild success.

(its al bout security) #3

haha i learned that with a light charicter and fast reaction the knife can almost be its own weapon

:bump:
this is discouraging
starting to think there is no support

(obliviondoll) #5

I’ve just swapped from being a Light Op/Medic to playing as a Heavy Soldier…

I’m loving the change in playstyle - it feels like a totally different game.

Brink is awesome.

(Smokeskin) #6

A bit of weapon rebalancing, some respawn timer adjustments, chat on debriefing screen - and this game would be perfect. Seriously, perfect. 10/10.

(Lozmuir) #7

I just love the game, no fuss needed.

(its al bout security) #8

this is what i can agree with. will wait for stats and dlc thats what will make it a 10/10

I LOVE Brink, love SD for giving me the chance to play as a team and use hip shooting, the game-play, my team - my silent warriors :D, the way it force you to support them, and when it happens, when you Win, even if you can tell them GJ, GG, HF, you know that you won only with their big help. Even if i’m a noob, they sure make me fell like y did an important part in a match. m(_ _)m
Make me a Linux client so y can bring my geek Linux friends to this party

Just got my second character to 20, made a new one so I have specialized in what I want to specialize in ability-wise :stuck_out_tongue:

Really like leveling new characters and trying out different builds, it’s nice

And BRINK is a game that grows on you, my friend who said everything about BRINK sucked, and that Splash couldn’t make games for **** is now playing it whenever he turns on the box :stuck_out_tongue:

Completing an objective with only seconds to go, and then to going on to win the round.

(wolfnemesis75) #12

Working on my fourth character now up to level 18. Is that support?

(shadyadi) #13

Great game, nothing better than sliding through 2 dudes, or being a light and winning a beatdown competition with a heavy!

(jtcolumbus) #14

I love this game. When it is running well and there is no lag it is the most fun on my 360 that I have had in a long time. I really do not understand all the negative comments.

(its al bout security) #15

im personally glad to see that the community is still growing, regardless what people say, many of my friends are still getting brink, in fact 3 friends last Friday.

its also still encouraging to see people that like the game and try to show how many of us are left that truly appreciate it.

Nothing more to say! :stroggtapir:

Introduced a friend to brink yesterday. He was engy on terminal, he got the safe to 99% with less than 30 secs to go, then he was gunned down

(Ghostdog) #18

Love the setting, the customisation, the movement, the gunplay and overall style of the game - nothing else like it really imo. Personally would have preferred it if there was less emphasis on buffs - can be sometimes actually be a distraction from objective-orientated teamplay imo, but still find the gameplay fun and addictive.

Still experimenting with a variety of zero-Carb builds - going to be more interesting when the weapons get rebalanced.

(Nail) #19

One thing about weapon balance, it can can be done through netvars, so balancing can be dynamic, no need for patch or download

(Ghostdog) #20

That’s cool - I assume we’ll still get the equivalent of patch notes (netvar notes?) when weapon stats are changed?
