I just had a Reactor match where in the course of a match we planted like 4 hackboxes and drove the meter to around 60 percent only to horribly **** up due to my teammembers inability to get on a high ground and provide some cover. I think I broke a couple of keys on my keyboard while spewing profanity in chat.

Ah, yes, I love Brink with all my heart.

i really like that the big teams option is still there
playing 8vs8 with no lag on xbox is great specially when horse guns you down with his chinzor amillion times -_-

Was playing light op, now med soldier, i guess the thing i love doing most is sprinting off a roof, molotov already held and smashing it in there face before i hit the ground. So… so… satisfying

any excitement on the dlc?? speculations?/

(Mad Hatter) #29

I love this game. 4 level 20 characters, 4 level 10 characters, 1 level 4 character. Still going strong.

And I absolutely cannot wait for the DLC. Mostly for the steampunk outfit, admittedly, but everything else sounds great too!

My favorite moment in Brink happened in the first few days of playing, when I got into a John Woo style gun battle, with both of us vaulting over pbjects and firing at each other at the same time. I won by a sliver of health. Of course, his medic then immediately incapped me and revived him, which allowed him to get up and rifle butt me in the face.

Havent been let down by SD. For me theyve delivered on all they promised.

Another glorious fragfest.
I love the ironic xp reward system too. (after being rewarded for almost everything u do in brink - once u max rank your 10 characters, u earn 0xp for ever) hahaha

Love the setting, Waterworld always was my favorite movie… next to Jurassic Park. The parkour is awesome but my vote goes to the size system, being able to use weapons other than pistols as secondaries… priceless.

I hope they beef up heavies one of these days so I can use a shotgun as a sidearm.

The game can be absolutely amazing when you are on a good team that is communicating and achieving objectives. There is no doubt about that.

I just wish especially on consoles it wasn’t so hard to create these moments because of all the other stuff that gets in the way.

^ agreed just been playing 6v6 private matches on XBL and its freaking sweet

Ever since the update (PS3) I’m having more of these moments, because now I’m actually getting matched with real people.

I just got done with 3 hrs of the best online gaming I’ve had with Brink. Like was mentioned already, when you have good human teammates and competition Brink is pure heaven.

My friends and I are still having a blast. I’m not saying there haven’t been bugs, but we are still having fun and learning the finer points and strategies of the game/maps/cvars. This is what keeps me interested in games.
40 hours playtime for myself which is a reasonable amount considering work.

stats site is up JEEZ look at the detail and the bells and whistles

I personally love this game. It was a big undertaking, and has been somewhat successful at launch. As with any new game there are bugs that surface when released. SD has done a great job responding to the problems.

Most complaints I hear and read are from players that want another cookie cutter COD or BCBF2 type of first person shooter. If these people watched any of the pre-release videos they would have known SD was making every attempt to NOT be like the rest.

Keep up the good work SD. I am really looking forward to the DLC.

DLC looks superb and stat site is freaking beautiful

I’m playing this game. Heard through the grapevine that there’s going to be some add ons later in June? (Got this info from one of my sons, who now is basing his opinions from some gaming magazine which will remain nameless.) How can you not like Sci-Fi, (unless you’re a Sci-Fi hater, LOL)
