I hope your English accent tops Potty’s
shoutcaster
He’s American bro. Unless you were asking him to try an English accent.
Welcome Warwitch, hop on Teamspeak some time soon buddy.

I know he’s American and I’ve seen his casts, so I am simply expecting him to cosplay the DB theme
Warwitch deseves this thread on his own…He deserves one more if needed to get him a key!
And yes, I do believe he would benefit this game and community alot and the faster we can get him to cover more extensivly, the better for everyone…
Except maybe frauline Warwitch =)
well there a re plenty of other good shoutcasters
but why we need shoutcasters if you arent allowed to stream it
maybe some people of stream talkrounds would be better
and get some stars would help for sure as example et pros cs pros quake pros…
I’ve had a chance to play the game a bit and I really enjoy it. Obviously, that’s not content for this thread, but I’m just throwing that out there. That being said, I’ve already started putting together a “theme” for what a broadcast of Dirty Bomb/Extraction would look and sound like. I’ve worked up some graphics and some props. I’d definitely need to get my hands on the official soundtrack to the game. I really enjoy the dystopian feel and I think I can do a lot with that. As attack pointed out, there are many very talented shoutcasters out there these days, but few I think bring their full attention to their games in terms of music, setting, format etc. I’m very much about making the coverage feel like you’re in the world, not just watching a couple guys talk about it. Either way, I look forward to the days to come!
Welcome WarwitchTV! I’ve watched some of your video’s on Twitch and they rock. I’d love if you once shoutcast one of our team’s matches
Have fun here! Cheers

Why we need streamers when we aren’t allowed to stream? The way I see it, if streamers, such as Warwitch, the Potty/Seanza extravaganza get their hands on the game now they will be prepared on how everything works and how to present it properly on the day that we are allowed to show stream it.
Also, letting streamers and shoutcasters into the game now gives them the valuable opportunity to share their knowledge and desires on how the spectator, streaming and shoutcasting feature should and could work.
I do agree with you though, if possible, getting some “stars” to talk and test the game would defiantely spark some interest but then again… They might not like it and as a result of that 90% of their fanboys might not like it either, even if they haven’t even played the game.
Not to be that guy, but I’d rather not see WarWitch as a shoutcaster, he’s a great guy and genuinely entertaining to watch, but as far as in-depth knowledge or even just observatory skills go, he’s rather rubbish. The majority of the time in his RtCW castings he’s missing the most important aspects of the game and gives very inaccurate information as to what really is happening in the game. Not to mention his random German expressions and incomprehensible mutterings whenever he gets excited isn’t something everyone takes a liking in. I’d love him as a co-caster, perhaps, for entertainment purposes, but leave the proper commentating to the people that have kept active in the past 10 years and actually know, a tiny bit, of what they’re talking about. Irregardless, if DB does become a hit in the eSports section, I’m sure the big names will make a transition for a few games here and there as well. In fact a showmatch done properly inviting “bigger names” from various games to play it for you, and having a person such as 2GD/Deman host it would be huge as far as advertisement and getting the word out goes.
fatality has been in the alpha for ages now, how much bigger of a name do you need
people that are actually good at games? fatality is nothing but marketing these days, he hasn’t had any success… anywhere, in years. He’s great from a PR side of things, but given the fact that he can’t even play DB on his stream, he really doesn’t serve a purpose at all right now. Point is, if you want a good showmatch, from a competitive point of view, get… good players. Nothing hurts more than watching players that are utterly horrible in the spotlight merely because they were lucky enough to get an invite by random chance. Gather one or two players each in the top scene of games such as CoD, BF3, RtCW/ET, Quake and CS and let them have a go at it, give them a week or two or even more to get to know the game beforehand too.
i never did say he was good, but he is really well known which if he still has something nice to say about the game he can really boost the awareness of the game when it gets closer to beta. cooller and demon (i think) so theres someone from the quake but they are on the russian client and i dont think they are able to play with us at all which really blows
for et and bf3 we have winghaven. dont think we have any high tier cod and cs players though. we do have fana though from NS2
And that’s a good start already. I’m aware of multiple competitive players, from various games, that would love to have a chance at this Alpha and possibly even give a deeper insight into the competitive features of this game, but unfortunately the “add names of people you’d wish to be invited” topic seems to be no longer active.
Either way, if you want accurate and useful feedback, or even merely for advertisement purposes only - get known players into the alpha/beta and make people aware of it. There are players with a fanbase of thousands upon thousands, if they hear their idol’s playing X and Y game, they might just do the same.

There’s a “competitive stress test invite phase” planned by Anti sometime near the end of major developments hopefully. Most active/known comp players don’t tend to bother with other games because they are already preoccupied with those that make them money. To top it off you tend to see trends where every comp player demands the game plays identically to the game they are from, which isn’t always helpful. I do strongly believe that some high tier teams/players will be really useful for breaking the game and testing its competitive worth when it’s ready for that. A friend of mine has contacts with a lot of the really well known NA CS players and plans to convince them to participate in the competitive testing phase, which should be really interesting to spectate.

As long as they don’t post screenshots of the game or other NDA’d stuff on Crossfire.nu then I’m sure we’ll invite them along at some point
2GD is my favorite caster of all time :D. Should definitely pull him off dota2 and bring em here.
