Should the tutorial be mandatory?

So, is your team composed of level 1-4s that won’t drop ammo or heals? Well, I am of the opinion that you shouldn’t be able to join a server until you’ve completed the tutorial, because this might help fix it. Granted, you still will have a*****e tryhard Auras or some other idiotic Sui-Skyhammer.

I think it would be cool if after completing the tutorial the new player got dropped right into a game. Kind of what I expected to happen at the end of the current tutorial. The soon coming match making system could maybe even be used with that in mind… maybe?

Manditory tuturial, option to immediatly start assault course from the tuturial instead of going back to the main menu, and most of all: force players under level 5 to go into max level 5 servers.

Do you people have any idea how much easier it is to make videos when the tutorial isn’t compulsory? It writes itself sometimes. That’s about the only argument I can think of to be against this.

Does the tutorial not start automatically, when you first boot up the game, any longer? It did, when I first started mine.

I honestly have know idea one way or the other Runeforce. I was playing before the tutorial change. If it does start automatically still that would be very nice.

People HAVE to do the tutorial because that will be THEIR ONLY OPTION WHEN STARTING THE GAME. When they finish it they will move to the assault curse and after getting a GOOD score (not the best) they could play this game.

No amount of tutorials will defeat ignorance. If people don’t want to learn they won’t learn.

Yes, and I acknowledged that. Unfortunately you can’t really force people to take the tutorial.

One thing that could be potentially done as well is to make it so that you can’t get past level 5 or something unless you complete the tutorial.

EDIT: in retrospect, what I just said is a terrible idea.

Btw. did you guys notice, there were a call-out, from the devs, about half a year ago, for the making of quality community tutorial videos, to be incoorporated into the game? The challenge still stands!
