Should In-Game Team Switching stay in Dirty Bomb?

srry but i can’t write full description too lazy srry do it later got bashed up today. plus i never knew about it till yesterday. lol.

Yes, else there would be no way to balance out those 8v4 games. I know it almost never happens, but the possibility should be there for the people that are not dicks.

But people can switch if their team is losing or outnumbered. Most people won’t change sides if the enemy team is outnumbered. They just like continuing their way to victory. It’s as bad as team shuffling.

Plus it’s really rare for someone to help the ‘outnumbered’ team.

Remove it then people will complain that no one is switching teams to balance even though they can’t. Keep it and people will complain people are switching to unbalance.

There is no win, so having the option is nice imo. Especially since if people are good they won’t unbalance teams but WILL balance them.

Hahaha. Nice joke you have there.

I love it when people switch from my team to what they think is the winning team and I end up kicking their ass. >:)

And as long as there is something to auto balance the number of players on each team, team switching isn’t an issue imo.

If you aren’t going to add parties for pub games then you better keep team switch so I can play with my friends. It’s funner to play with those you can communicate with and know and don’t even dare to tell me to play the mess that is competitive yet.

i join the losers all the time, then lead them to victory and see all the big mouths of the other team cry, its amusing. also you get a challenge and a job to do, vs just sitting in front of the enemy spawn being bored.

if they would use quakelives system they had no problems.

meaning:

-if teams even, someone joining can only join the losing team.
-cannot join enemy team except to make the player numbers even
-that also means a 6v5 is always 6 on the losing team and 5 on the winning team. cannot switch.

Meaning?

I use it to switch teams, I am the minority that balance the game.

(Ghosthree3) #11

Someone on the losing team can’t switch to the winning team to make it even more stacked when it’s already winning.

As far as team balance goes, QL has it pretty nailed. Helps that everyone votes shuffle every round though, sometimes multiple times if they know the teams are unbalanced.

(Aazhyd) #12

The poll only handles one side of the problem. The game should autobalance teams, thus there would be no need to switch teams.

Now we just need to define “loosing team”.

Umm yes they can.

(Ghosthree3) #15

Video please, never seen it happen. Though perhaps you used to be able to and they changed it? I dunno, only been playing since 2013.

Well My team had fewer players then the other team in the middle of the battle, but then I switched teams. Either you did not know that, or i’m not getting the definition of what that guy said.

(Ghosthree3) #17

You are talking about QL right? Because if you read the guy’s post, and my own, you’ll see that we are.

(AirborneAsian) #18

QL? Does that mean Queue Lobby or something, cause I don’t know what that means.

(AirborneAsian) #19

Anyway, but I don’t know why, but the person that disliked my comment also dislikes almost all my comments I’ve made. What have I done to you?! You can ‘disagree’, but not dislike. Disagreeing is more appropriate.
