any ever get this when your playing in servers and your ping is good like 20 - 40 etc but your shots act as if you had a ping of 120+ ?? I get it in some servers and in others the shots form mP40 are as str8 as a arrow anyoen know why it happens cos its quite annyoing as it can easily lose you a firefight when your aiming perfectly at them but your shots are spraying cm’s to left right up and down from actual target

My ping is almost always 150-200, and I get 35-38% accuracy.

Two things going on here.
First off, you have weapon spread from extended firing. Anyone using the mp40 who fires an extended burst will have shots that don’t go directly where the crosshair is pointing. This is most evident when using weapons like the FG42 or the MG in an undeployed state. You can counter this by firing in bursts, getting the necessary Light Weapons reward, and firing in a crouched or prone position. With the SMGs, however, this typically isn’t that big of a deal in standard firefights.
Secondly, if you are playing on servers with anti-lag disabled your shots will seem to be “late.” This is because the server is not accounting for the network latency between when you fired on your client and when the information was received on the server. It results in your shots hitting where you were aiming a moment ago. You can manually compensate for this by leading your target based on their movement and your own client to server latency (roughly half your ping). This means someone with a 200 ping has to lead their target more than someone with a 50 ping, even if the target is right next to them or entirely across the map. If anti-lag is enabled you instead aim for the target itself and don’t have to lead anything.

its not either of those as i know about spray with mg42 un prone etc but I’m talkign about smg and others on my team dont have so much spray when I spec them i think sickboy might be right thats its just my random tweaking might have messed it up

why don’t you play on servers near to you so you dont have lag?
Nah, it’s not that. I have a cable connection too…
I live in a college town, and I think my high pings are due to the fact that there are 40,000 college kids downloading porn and music 24 hours a day, and network can’t handle it.
Over the summer I got a 50 average ping, September 7th it shot to 200 
Can’t wait for winter break
