Shiny's Fan-Mercs and Mercenary Fusions (With art and stuff!)

Came back for a little discussion type post. Besides Fusions, has anyone else thought about Defusions and NPC switching?

For example, Thunder and Fragger are Defusions of Dazzler. Imagine a Defused Redeye consisting of two Recon Mercs: one with debilitating smoke bombs and another with significantly upgraded Bomb Squad-esque vision.

As for “NPC switching”, maybe in some alternate universe background characters took the place of our current roster:

Arty = Artillery Bomber: Fire Support. She calls in launched ammo crates from Arty.
Aimee = Max Bashki: Fashion designer turned Recon. Disguises into other Mercs.
Fragger = His Mom: Aroma therapy expert turned Assault. Confusing gas grenades.
Vassili = His Sister: Target turned Recon. Avert and dodge enemy bullets.
Phantom = Scrub: Versatile class. Steals unused abilities from downed Mercs and can use them for a very short period of time.

Everyone = Tutorial Dummy: AI Assault dummy. Can prevent itself from dying.
Everyone = Jackal Announcer: Recon. Requests backup NPC Jackal Agents
Everyone = CDA Announcer: Engineer. Creates weak temporary hard-light holograms from Dome to shield himself, block areas off, or make platforms.

Did some doodles of the fusion and I’m sort of in love lol

My interpretation:
Blaster | Assault | 130 Health | 400 Speed

Active Ability: Grenade Pistol. Fires mini frag grenades.
Passive Ability: Can continue shooting grenades while in a downed state.

Heres another combo i thought of, one of the lightest mercs and the most fattest mercs, Kira and Rhino.

Havent thought of abilities that much but how about someone who weilds a gun that shoots a solid beam of lasers with less damage and more accuracy than the minigun.

A big dude with a flamethrower and the name of a large animal related to fire.
