Share Your Mouse Settings

(n3x) #1

What mouse/DPI settings do you like to use? Though it’s personal preference, many people say that having a low mouse sensitivity is better for games like Dirty Bomb, ET, and ET:QW that require tracking as the main style of aiming. What settings work best for you?

Here are mine:
Mouse: Logitech mx518 @ 500 DPI
Pad: Func Archetype 1030 (Rough Texture)
Medium/High in-game sensitivity

I still haven’t received a beta key yet, so I can’t say what my in-game sensitivity would be.

(Wepohn) #2

Logitech G400 @800 dpi, no software installed
Windows default sens, enhance pointer precision - off
Dirty Bomb sens 4 - no smoothing
Boogie bug XL pad

Roughly 40cm = 360

(n3x) #3

Ah I forgot to add that I use Windows 6/11, no mouse accel, and raw input

(LuLNope) #4

Logitech G400 800dpi, Win 6/11, enchance pointer precision off.
Dirty Bomb sens 4, no smoothing.
This fix installed don’t know if it’s really doing anything but hey, I’m already used to having it on.
My mouse pad is Qck SteelSeries, the basic one @Wepohn it’s 32cm wide and it takes exactly entire mouse pad’s width to do 180 for me so 40cm != 360, more like 60cm == 360.

(chippy) #5

IE 3.0, SS NP+, 6/11, raw input, 7 or 8 ingame

(Fake nick) #6

R Deathadder 3.5g, windows 6/11, synapse settings: sens y-3500 / sense x-2800 / polling rate 1000 / dirtybomb settings: no smoothing / ingame sens 1.95
pad: R goliathus

(Mustang) #7

10 inches/360 horizontal, 6 inches/360 vertical

(potty1) #8

I don’t know what settings I use but I know how long it takes for me to do a 180. I think it is 42cm for 180 degrees when shooting long distance and 30cm to 180 when roaming or close combat. (I Have a bind which changes my sensitivity during the game)

you have to install the Nexon launcher and change your forum name in it for some odd reason.

Really impressed that some are keeping quite low sensitivities in DB. I play 46cm/360 (1800dpi x 0.5 in game sens) in CS:GO and there’s no way I would feel comfortable doing that in DB since the move speed is so high. I believe the sensitivity modifiers are different for both games, but for what it’s worth, for DB I use 1650 DPI and 3.5 sens.

Edit: For mousepad I use a Puretrak Talent for CS:GO, but I use a hard surface for DB.
