Mouse: Razer Deathadder 2013
Pad: Razer Goliath (control)
DPI: 1700
In-game: I forget, probably medium.
My cursor speed is extremely fast but that is how I’ve played since 2003 and I guarantee you I’m just as accurate as the 400 dpi folks.

Mouse : Razer Copperhead Blue.
Pad : Generic $5 mousepad with cats doing yoga
Sensitivity slider set to high.
Mouse: Steelseries Kinzu V3 @ 1.000 CPI/DPI.
Mouse pad: Razer Goliathus Speed Omega
Not enough space on my desk for a larger mouse pad, so that’s why my CPI/DPI is “relatively high”. Besides that, I’m a fingertip- and clawgrip user, so there’s no need to swipe across my entire room with the mouse hehe.
I’m also thinking of buying a mouse bungee. They seem to be awfully expensive for just two springs on a weighted block though. Anybody experience with those or any that you can recommend perhaps?
Mouse: Logitech MX 518 Optical Gaming Mouse

^Nice. Low sens feels so precise, right? But your arm can hurt quite a bit at first from all the swinging.
TFW competitive FPS newbs think their aim can be good with 2000 DPI and 10 sens. Feels like EZ kills EZ life. Low sens master race.
I think it mainly depends on how you are used to put your hands on the mouse. Since I got an accurate laser mouse I’ve always used my fingertip to play and put pretty much no weight on my mouse. I am therefore playing with an extremely high sensitivity. I know I am probably doing this the wrong way but I never felt the need to change. I never felt being handicaped playing this way although I’ve been playing quite a few games on very high level. It’s very personnal and playing a way you feel awkward is the last thing you want to do.
Right now, I am still using a 10 years old logitech G3 for its ergonomics (I am lefthanded and move the mouse with it) and the built-in acceleration. I am using it full speed (2000 dpi) and a sensitivity set in the middle in-game. For a reference, doing a full rotation at low speed/acceleration takes me less than 5 cm and less than 2 cm at high speed/acceleration.
Recently I went for steelseries sensei, but I couldn’t get used to it. Acceleration takes a very important place in my way of playing and I can’t get rid of it.
All these nice mouses while I’m just sitting here with my $5 amazon mouse…
sens depends a lot on the game, originally had 35cm/360 because it was my loadout sens but changed to lower sens because you don’t really need to make rapid 180 rotations in db
but yeah, it does feel quite a bit better[quote=“B. Montiel;5353”]I think it mainly depends on how you are used to put your hands on the mouse. Currently using a DeathAdder Chroma on a PureTrak CompLexity. Though I have started getting a decent collection of mice and pads.
I use a sensitivity of 37.5cm/360, but I’m tempted to go down to 56cm/360 because it feels so amazing!
I just ordered myself a Mionix Sargas 900, which is a 90cm mouse pad which I won’t put my keyboard on top off, hopefully this will allow me to drop that sensitivity. But because I play a lot of arena shooters, I kind of need that vertical sensitivity to do fast rocket jumps, so I’m not sure I can go as low as 56cm/360 without acceleration, and acceleration is out of the question, as is having multiple different sensitivities for different games.
Also I’m looking at the new Logitech G303, looks interesting. I have the G502, but it’s just too heavy for me, despite the sensor being amazing. So putting that sensor into a light weight mouse just appeals to me, a lighter mouse than my DeathAdder which I also find to be slightly on the heavy side, though manageable.
