Hey everyone i need help bigtime!
OK evrytime I start up a sever: it dose not come up on the main sver list in Wolf et.
What is going on here?
PS: I am useing lan

you need to run it dedicated, i.e. only er serving, not playing at same time.
add to server startup line: (more info)
+set dedicated 2
also seems to be better at appearing on 3rd party browsers if you add to the server cfg:
set sv_master1 “etmaster.idsoftware.com”
set sv_master2 “master.gamespy.com:27900”
set sv_master3 “master0.gamespy.com”
set sv_master4 “clanservers.net”
bear in mind sometimes it can take a while to appear on the server lists.
Of course then there’s possible problems associated with the LAN router, usually something to do with the game server thinking it’s IP is the LAN address… www.practicallynetworked.com is probably a good site to look at to try and figure out what might be going on, and how to solve it.
