Ok now we have 14 days (Thats a two weeks kids!) Left. How are you guys progressing?
I might start of my 1024^3 mapping experience…
My first problem was that I had 2 constructables “near” each others. One allied one axis that allied must destroy to advance. The engineer could not plant the dyno on axis constructable because it was too near friendly objective… well moved things a bit solved the that issue.
Adding detail to allready small rooms is exiting. All details must be pretty flat and miniature compared to other maps, but used right they look cool.
My map is going to be a pit/cave with plants and there is axis bunker like contruction that holds a water pump allied to destoy to flood the pit so that the allied would be able to escape the pit. I haven’t decided how should the allied escape. Maybe a door that opens slowly when button is pressed and area behind it would trigger allied winning.
