Setting a server in linux help.

Hi, I am trying to setup a dedicated server in linux. I cannot use the grapihcal menu, because my machine cant support it, but because the dedicated server runs in a shell, this should not be a problem. But my problem is, upon starting the server i get the following error:

root@xbox:/usr/local/games/enemy-territory/etmain# etded

I have posted in the enemy-territory forums, and I have ahd a reply that

It can’t find your autoexec.cfg file which I’m assuming holds your map information and your settings.
, can anyone please help me with this problem, and direct me to where I can find these files on the internet, as I can’t find them in the et folder. Also I am trying to run a dedicated Local server.

Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

You need to put your server on a map or campaign. Look at the ‘server.cfg’ file included in the etmain/ directory, edit it to suit you (especially the part near the bottom where it loads one of the distributed configuration files for campaign, objective, or last man standing), and then either run your server as “etded +exec server.cfgâ€? or run it without parameters and type “exec server.cfgâ€? at the console.
