HI!

Be sure that the only goal of Cheaters is to disturb server’s gameplay : search who can have an interest about that and you will know who enjoy of disturbing other servers.

Do you speak about Old PunkBuster that could disrupt the game ? Because as Admin I have already seen cheaters playing on servers that are using PunkBuster & PBBans :slight_smile: … and some aggressive’s cheaters were not detected. Oops!
And cheaters can always change their user’s informations, and they can come back few minutes later.
But PunkBuster is interesting for managing GUID and XPSAVE.

We bans only cheaters :wink:
18 at this day since a year (if some admins want the informations, we can provide the list of player’s Names and GUID)

We wait the SLAC for other Mods ; that should be available in some months .
For us SLAC is the only thing that scare cheaters (Sure of that seen on some Cheater’s Forum), but for the moment SLAC is only for ETPro.

Old Punkbuster is still busting cheaters on daily basis. Off course below ban list is just from the streaming servers and if more servers start streaming more will be busted.

If you think you can bust all 200+ cheats by yourself, humanized cheats, etc you are wonderful :slight_smile:

Indeed cheaters can always change there info and hence Anti Cheat site streaming so all there IP’s, GUID, and alias get logged. So if busted on one server other admins can also know instantly.

But some can be harder… some are assembler coders too… in that kind of cases… they are a real problem.

PunkBuster or Not, is a strategic choice :wink: Everyone have his opinion like everyone have his own gameplay :slight_smile:
Yes My admins are doing a good job :wink: And new WET players that connect to my servers are not kicked because of PunkBuster :slight_smile: For me it is a great deal ! [And they do not get crashed when playing with some “Win” Systems Versions…!]

I think the both choices are valuables :wink:

As an example you can find all that you need here to understand that PunkBuster and PBBans do not scaring them ! :slight_smile: :

80-95% public cheats on that forum are busted by md5tool or cvar scans. I see that has plus i.e. less work for me and my admins. :slight_smile:

I have played from Windows xp to win 7 from 32 to 64bit. I don’t get crash on anyone and neither of my member does.

Yeah it all comes down to setting PB up properly

For the moment we enjoy of not having big problems compared to your servers :wink:

For sure your servers are certainly the servers that manage the maximum amount of players…:slight_smile: And in that case like I have said : You be a target of choice for the Cheaters that search to disturb a maximum the best competitor’s servers that are your servers ! And like I have said, just search about : Who have an interest in cheating for disturbing game servers ?

For the moment I have no regrets regarding my choices, and many seems to love them…

Like I have said we have different strategies :wink:

And to conclude ! If you want you be free to come to do some demo of your clan skill on our servers because we are opened servers :wink:

btw: i have a streamed server who change between NQ 1.2.9/2.60b and etpub 0.91/2.60b both versions PB streamed and have no Problems with cheaters, but is funny to see, that they be a time long on and after a specialtime you see xxx is banned for xxx and “unban”-bot not work there also PBdownforce - they have learn a lot more to chatch cheaters…

but the war between Bot-Coders :frowning: and PB :wink: is still on…

I see trust to Punkbuster,because server admins are running it and happy with it.
But Punkbuster will be always bypassed.Duo the structure of the Punkbuster.
And here helps only good admins with good eyes.
So good luck with server and have big population!

  • I have no lags that are coming from PunkBuster scans & updates
  • I prefer to think by myself for effective good customs ! :slight_smile:

After the Cheaters and the Disruptive players… Now some have invented the SNF (Server Name Faking) and For my opinion it is more disruptive than the rest !

I have contacted the concerned Hosting company, I have said them that graphics, colors & name are registered !

What did they do ? : They just close my tickets or delete them !
In that case do they support those kind of acts ?
Do they have an Interest regarding that ?
It seem perhaps to be an indicator about what I could have already listen concerning that company ?

I talk about

Now, Who will be the next to have those kind of Problems ?
Who feel concerned by those risks ?

UP TO THE DATE They have JUST CHANGED THEIR Server in PURE POWER = PURE S****

  1. they do not understand what I say at support
  2. their bandwidth calculation work bad since those changes… result abnormal billing
  3. They will do nothing to solve that because simply they think they are the best… but Best of what ?

It mean if you want to do some tests rent to their services, but not now anymore for a serious server.

It is why I will rent a New Good server for 2 secondary servers. I think of that since a moment.

I suggest you to test F1 (rank 89 at Gametracker), M2 (rank 100 at Gametracker), M3, ST, DD (USA)
because I think you will not complain for them :wink:

If some want to test Scenna’s MOD you will need to use your Shrubbot file if you want to be able to admin your server :wink:

I have requested the informations from Scenna since January… but at the end I find find it by myself Since July.

At this time, always, I do not see it the documentation, I think it could be useful because some could wait it since 10 months.
