Since a short time i dont get any server displayed when trying to play a game
does anybody knows what could be wrong?
i am connected to the internet an ET has firewall access
it used to work just fine
the only thing i can think of is thr main server is down or some ET file got corupted.
I also tried reinstalling but it didn’t help

help apreciated
thanks

The in game server listing constantly has problems. You should use either All Seeing Eye (preferred) or Pathfinder. Both are much better ways of tracking servers and offers a lot more features than the in game browser.

The master server was down yesterday, maybe it isn’t back yet?
Pathfinder still relies on that, so it may not work either right now (although it’s still better than the in-game browser). ASE has it’s own master server which never seems to be down. :drink:

its seems to be the case that the masterserver is still down :frowning:
thanks for clarifying

ase will cost money afterwards but the 21 days will hopfuly last long enough for tyhe masterserver to go online again

so i installed ase and it seems to work getting servers
but now i get a protocoll mismatch saying that either my version or the server version is to old.
trying to login at many servers getting the same problem its save to asume its my version thats old. also because i’ve just reinstalled it it makes sense.
aparently the autoupdate isn’t working either so is there another way to update? and where can i see what version i currently have?

thanks

Bring down the console (with the key below Esc) and look in the lower right corner. It says ET 2.56 if you have installed the 1.02 patch.

Download the patch from rtcwfiles.com.

About half the public servers are running 1.02, just select the appropriate version in the Version filter in ASE to hide the rest.
