Hey everyone,
I was wondering how I could best set my server up.
I have the game installed under:
G:\gameservers\wolfet\wolfet_lite\
it contains:
\etmain
\etpro
\pb
ETDED.exe
========
The download folder is placed under:
G:\webservers\xampp\htdocs\server_downloads\
which contains:
\etmain
\etpro
\fritzbot
========
The savepath is placed under:
G:\webservers\xampp\htdocs\server_data\wolfet\
it contains:
\server_comp
\server_practice
\server_propub
So for each instance of the game I have a different savepath.
Now my question would be, if I run custom maps…
I could place them all under
G:\gameservers\wolfet\wolfet_lite\etmain
But I would like to give ftp access so people could upload maps to the folder.
Would it be possible to have a seperate folder named “/maps” or something, and store them all in there? And have every server instance read from there?
I tried adding fs_basegame “maps” but when I connected, it would download those .pk3’s into the clients “/maps” folder aswell.
Is there a way to keep the base game files seperate from additional .pk3’s, but still have them readable by every instance, and with which they download to the etmain folder of the client?
Thanks in advance!
Greetings,
Crytiqal
