eh hem… please excuse if I ramble, but it’s late, I’m drunk, and this has been annoying the crap out of me for the last few days…
On the server I usually play on, we have been getting an unwanted ‘guest’, who has (I believe) been using an exploit to restart the server. I know the perps name, but do not wish to advertise it… (he probably craves the publicity… why else bugger everyone else’s game??)
Anyway, what I wish to know, is there any way to find his ip through the game? I have bookmarked him in ASE, and watched as he has jumped from server to server (guess what he’s up to??)
…and if I do get his ip, do I have any recourse with his isp? I would love to see this idiot lose his internet connection - 1 less idiot spoiling it for the rest of us.
And a footnote to SD: I have notice that this guys name is very ‘strange’ in ASE - he is not using any ‘forbidden’ ascii codes, but it is still very odd. Is there anyway I can pass this to you without publicising it? I guess (hope?) you guys already know about this, but you never know…
