Server problem?

My ISP administrator started up na ET server on 195.252.112.25. This server is suposed to be for dial-up users. When I connect on this server with my 56K modem, sometimes it’s ok and I have ping 150, it lasts for a few minutes (sometimes less), and then it is 999. Then I usualy have lots of this messages in my console NET_SendPacket:WSAEINTR.

This dedicated ET server runs on:
Pentium 3 with 700Mhz
512MB SDRAM

Administrator, unfortunately has Freelancer dedicated server on this machine also.

If someone wants to connect to this ET server with ISDN, everything is ok, but modems are the other story… :frowning:

Does anyone knows where is the problem and the way I can overcome this??

Be sure that your rate is set appropriately, and make sure the server administrator has sv_lanForceRate set to 0, or the server may be forcing your rate to 99999 (because it’s mistaking you for a LAN client.)

This is definitly a typo ;-). WSAEINTR must be written WARSTEINER. This is a German beer brand :drink:. And until now you can’t send beer over the net :-(. So visit the next supermarket and buy some beer to fix this error !
