Server not browsable in game on the server browser

Hi all

I’m trying to get my server listing on the browser in game. In the console it’s saying:

Resolving etmaster.idsoftware.com
etmaster.idsoftware.com resolved to 192.246.40.60:27950
Sending heartbeat to etmaster.idsoftware.com
Resolving master0.etmaster.net
master0.etmaster.net resolved to 213.108.29.23:27950
Sending heartbeat to master0.etmaster.net

This all looks ok to me?

However, the server doesn’t appear when I refresh the list. I can connect to it directly fine.

Any suggestions?

let Et thru your firewall maybe?

I have TCP port 27960 open.
And UDP ports 27950 - 27965 open.

Am I missing any?

My server is at 54.246.87.201:27960

have you open ports in your modem? cant find you on xfire either

The ingame server browser acts different from client version to client version. Probably you have a 2.6b client. All info should be in the thread.

Too much ports opened… = risk…

yup, remember I had a big attack on my modem at home… almost fried it :D. better to rent an vps :smiley:
