Server Name change?

Sorry if this has already been asked, and I’m sure it must have been, but I’ve searched for a while and can’t find anything…

How do I change the name of my server once I’ve entered the max characters? A friend was having troubles finding my server so to make it extra-easy for him I made the text bright pink and did a long line of AAAA’s until it reached the max I could enter. Now I want to change the Server Name back but I can’t, when I click nothing happens. I’ve looked in the config files but can’t find anywhere to change the name outside of ET. What do I do now? (Apart from reinstall of course).

You server name is set by sv_hostname in your cfg. You can change it there.

Doesn’t work though. In my etconfig.cfg, line 361 is

seta sv_hostname “ETHost”

I tried changing it in the config anyway, but in game it’s still just “AAAAAAAAAAAAAA…”

Ah OK I sorted it by typing /sv_hostname into the console instead, thanks for pointing me in the right direction :smiley:
