When I join a server than it stays on awaiting challange 1,
And than it saiz: Server is for low pings only…
Than i Press Reconnect… Than the same thing is happening over and over again… And I’m not downloading or something and my ping is very good normal…
Do you guys now the Problem???

Anyway if you are you are prolly connecting to the naabserver of CMDR, some servers have some strange settings, i often have to push reconnect 20 times before i get in. (btw im Taurus).
Yeah, there is a server setting where you can set the maximum ping allowed for clients. I usually stop trying after a couple of reconnects.
it always reconnects for me…except that one time, but thast when i forgot to turn off winMX. =) INSANE ping.
Sometimes your ping when connecting initially is high, and you see that message, but pressing reconnect usually does the trick. If it doesn’t, after several attempts to reconnect, probably safe to assume the server has a max ping limit which you’ve exceeded.

But my ping is verry good… so that’s not the problem i know that for 100% Sure…
If got a verry good connection so… And @ other Servers my ping is just 0-40 Never higher dan 100…
But I think he is talking about 1 specific server (is it?), this one 131.174.33.100 . It has some nasty settings, you can often end up pressing reconnect and never connecting.
lol its a server where a lot of nice players connect, if they can connect that is Could someone be more specific about the serverside setting for the maximum ping allowed for clients, maybe i can mail that to the admin so he/she can look into it.
I hate that error message, like I see a server and it says my ping is 39 then try to connect and… ‘sorry, server is for low pings only’ …I mean WTF how low do they want it!? I’m sure the other 20+ ppl on there aren’t all below 40. Bastads.
mouse, ask them to raise sv_maxping, if that’s what’s causing the problem of course.
