I’m not sure why but even after the latest patch my server keeps crashing at least once every 24 hours. It is running on a dual 2 Ghz xeon box with 1 Gig of ram. After checking the logs there is no particular error or reason the server crashes. I just shows the last person to be killed and then the server is unresponsive. The server is running on Red Hat 7.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated because this is getting somewhat annoying.

I have the same problem also, server crashes, the process keeps running and starts using 100% cpu :disgust:
Strange, I’m running 3 servers, not a single crash since the patch. Longest uptime without restart is about two weeks, running maxclients 24 and com_hunkmegs 128, com_zonemegs 32.
bump… I was really hoping that someone could at least give me some logical insight into this issue. I have seen developers work with other people on issues in these forums. Please dont just take me for some noob that doesn’t know anything about linux. I have been using linux (many different distros) for a long long time now. Would really appreciate your input or even to work with you to fix this problem.

It’s really anoying, because we pay for some really good servers at Jolt and then we have a game that keeps crashing one to three times a day…
If i find a solution i will keep you posted… (Hope you will do the same)

just as an update the server is still crashing at least once a day. I still have yet to find something that will stop this. Still cant find anything in the log files that will show me any reason that the server is bombing out. Below is a snip from where it crashed earlier today. The last line is it. The server suddenly stopped responding right after that…
