I want to see a statistics distribution of people vs their issues with brink, since I’ve only had 1 and it was solved with the latest patch, so every time someone says the game is laggy/buggy/runs slow I can look where in the statistic I fall

A lot of people are disappointed and can’t run the game properly (I’m playing @ 5x reduced res just to get 30fps). Just support the initiative to get graphic cvars unlocked and more performance patching. Don’t let people like protector get more infractions for being a hard-hittn fan boi. Lots of people have the same problems as yourself, just try and be more constructive with dat rage :wink: (ie hate mail leads to forum spam).

It was directly after my character was deleted a third time and I was already frustrated with not a single config tweak giving me any kind of fps gain whatsoever. I was a bit angsty at the time. I still stand by my words in saying that the game, as it is right now, is a huge pile of feces. Not to say it wont get better, it may. I just dont plan on waiting around for it. Random characters being deleted is pretty major and I am not the only one it has happened to. It seems from some of the threads about it in support that the developers are interested in the issue but that doesn’t quell my hostility when it happens to me. Fix this damned game and maybe you could salvage what is left of your player base.

I respect the OP his “way of producing his anger towards the game”.

Personally I believe that many of you have issues with this game. But I have yet to have any issues and I don’t understand why this happens… Is it problem on other’s people end… Or just on Brink’s side because.

How come only many of you have these issues and others do not. I run my Brink on a maximum settings with a decent FPS and fps-lag or server lag is as non-existant as it is for me.

Anyhow, I hope the issues for you guys get solved so we are un-needed to listen to these rage threads :slight_smile: Instead of posting them out liket children maybe just keep them for you or post in a constructive manner.

I reply to people in the same manner they post, simple as that. The fact you respect someone who cannot even talk constructively and just uses abusive language any chance he gets basically somes up the sort of person you are too.

I am running BRINK on the minimum specs
(GeForce 8800GTX, Quad Core 2.4Ghz, 6GB RAM)

And I have had no serious bugs ruining my game.
Yes, I notice the several glitches (peoples characters are not their customized ones) and I also see the lack of polish on this game (server browser, menus are pretty weird, etc)

But still, I don’t experience any major bugs, and I run the game on 50ish FPS.

I would recommend the BRINKKIT config creator.

PS:
The server end is a whole other issue.
Server STILL crashes every day.
And: couldn’t authenticate user is also pretty common.
Stripping down admin stuff aswell, and not being able to rcon are all stuff that needed to be in imo.

To be honest you implied that he was immature with the whole “honestly whos more mature?” thing.
Either way: The whole tone of the post is set low due to the topic title but people should still keep their comments to the argument and not the person.
Also note: complaint threads that are not constructive criticism get old quickly and are flamebait waiting to happen. Saying “**** this game” is hardly setting a constructive tone and simply inviting posts saying “**** this, **** that, **** me, **** you, **** etc!”
Never post in anger. It never works out well. Type it up in notepad and save it for proofreading when you’re coldhearted. If you still feel the same you’ll find it’s a much better place to argue from because you can be more logical.

OP: it sucks you don’t like the game. Hope you find something else to amuse yourself with.

You have to expect negative responses to posts like this one - people have legitimate complaints, but there is certainly a right way, and indeed a wrong way to put your point across :slight_smile: Also if you insist on labelling anyone who disagrees with negative opinions as a “fanboi”, you’re pretty much writing “I R TEH STOOPID” on your forehead. In permanent marker. Most reactions happen because the OP has filled their post with the mystical **** and comes across like a spoiled young teenager who needs some extra discipline - it’s a natural reaction to someone making themselves look like a complete arse in front of lots of people.
