Seriously, **** THIS GAME

I waited over a year for this game, keeping track of every bit of information all along the way. I got it the day it came out and have had nothing but trouble ever since. I have had my characters ERASED three different times and the last time, just a while ago was completely out of nowhere. No config tweaks, no changes whatsoever.

Also, even though my computer is above the minimum system requirements I only get 7FPS in game even with the “best” config available. I struggled through it anyway and played it as best I could because my hopes were that it would get fixed.

SD, if the game is not ready to come out, push back the release date like everyone else does. This is the most unpolished piece of **** game I have ever seen. I am 100% disappointed and I will not return to Brink or Splash Damage for that matter.

if I’m not mistaken, in your Program Files(x86)\Steam\userdata<your ID>\22350\remote there is a file “game.save”
Backup copies of this file can be used to restore lost char (well, I hope so, I keep copying it since I had my char deleted)

I tried it all three times with the cloud sync method and it didn’t work all three times. Also, you shouldn’t have to back it up manually if this is going to be a problem. It should be fixed first and foremost.

I bough brink too. Same as you. Waste of money? no, i dont think so. Waste of money is, when you buy audi s8, and after year ago you are not able to sell it for cheap in autobazaar because no one wants that big engine, only small 1.2 litre V2 with low fuel consumption. This is disappointment. Reading same thread again and again how everyone is tired or disappointed of Brink… bla bla bla… im tired from these unknown forum persons.
