i decided to upgrade my comp nu motherboard, processor, ram and graphics card ive fitted them all correctly (i think) but when i power on nothing appears on screen its as if the monitor isnt plugged in to the graphics card at all, i get no warning beeps and the computer makes all the sounds id expect it too just with nothing on screen!
ive gota nasty feeling ive blown my cpu…

Do you even see the messages for checking the hardrive memory etc at startup ?
If so have you tried hooking up you monitor onto the display plug on the m/board

take out all expansion cars (including the gfx card, remove all your hdd’s cdroms, and remove the ram. boot up. if u dont hear any beeps, then either your cpu or mobo is bust
put the ram back in, boot up, if u dont hear any beeps then its most likely your cpu.
