Serious FPS and vid card problems

I have a P4 2.4 with 256 ram and a radeon 9200, but my ET and most other games that should be working fine struggle…I’ve tried different AA and AF settings as well as installing newest drivers for card and chipset, still nothing works. Any ideas anyone?

256Mb is a bit light for ET. Depends what OS you’re using (WinXP?) and what you have things like com_hunkmegs set to, but really another 256Mb would make a world of difference. Not sure there’s much you can do without tweaking XP to the max and/or fiddling with your ET config.

i would definately recommending disabling all AA & AF if you have a 9200.

Thanks i’ll try that, hopefully it works. my fps of 15 in firefights is kind of annoying!

what amount should i use for the come_hunkmegs, lower or higher?
