Security Violation Error Message

Hey folks!
Thank you for your feedback on the new anticheat system so far. As we know it hasn’t even been in the game 24 hours yet so I appreciate the patience and reports we’ve gotten. If you seem to be getting the “Security Violation” error message randomly don’t panic :slight_smile: There is a crash happening that’s causing this and we are looking into it and carefully monitoring the reports. You won’t be banned from the game for this (unless you are actually cheating. Hopefully you’re not!) Again, we’d like to urge patience in the short-term. This is a new system for us and it’s not going to be perfect right out the gate.

Should ask anyone getting the crash to give you some system info like O/S, ram, cpu(make a thread for it or here). Might be able to find a potential cause(unless you already know it :D). If NGS has them somewhere maybe crashlogs(i know the DB ones, but they don’t show anticheat logs so)

Security bugs aside I’d say this anti-cheat is already an improvement to the game, it looks like Dirty Bomb is going to have a bright future, of course not without obstacles, but from what I’ve seen any hurdle thrown in front of these developers is sure to be jumped. Yes maybe some trips and faceplants too, but then again what’s the point in overcoming obstacles that are easy? There is always a learning opportunity.

Can you also kindly check what’s causing FPS drops? I used to get 100+ fps now the maximum FPS is 70+ and it can drop significantly to around 12.

Also, latency issues are now more prevalent specifically on the countdown to respawn. At time = 0.00, free move happens before spawning (although it doesn’t happen all the time, it is intermittently happening).

I’ve seen many people having issues, so I just wanted to say I played for multiple sessions last night and didn’t have any issues with the new AC.

I know it’s not helpful for those having issues, but I suppose I just wanted to show that not everyone is having problems.

I noticed the error appeared when I played as Bushwacker and had the Lock On perk for his turret. When it activated, it kicked me out shortly after. Could the anti-cheat be conflicting with this?

Yes, it’s definitely just random crashing.
I just got that message when I was writing to a friend.

Nevertheless, I’m sure I met one cheater today.
His steam account was showing like no shooter experience at all.
He had incredible reflexes and didn’t even headshot once. Literally, not one time.
His answer after asking was a giant wall of silence.

But I know it’s not done yet so I’d like to thank for the new anti-cheat myself.

I won the raffle on your stream and I didn’the receive my redeye code
