@Icecoal Not to be arrogant, but those results were quite easy to get. Since I’ve got so many of them, I feel like pre-buff results are more valuable than nowadays, as I also used him after last year December 1st hotfix, which put THUNDA down to pure bottom.

He had nothing but disabling things through wall, +10 little HP than Fragger, and spamming flash.

Unlike my nickname, I am all-rounder style player in DB except female characters and shotgus. So it is quite ironic I perform much better with other male mercs that are superior than THUNDA. But I still have most MK.46 kills in my profile.

Oh ok. I just bought thunder because I got a really nice cobalt for him from an expert case, but I do very poorly with him. He is slow and due to his giant model easy to shoot. His concussion nade always brings him at risk, you need to run in and finish em off. I think thunder needs a good team to cover him while fragger or Nader do good on their own.

@Amerika my salt in cs is even worse than in db, I prefer a game where I can hit headshots by aiming at the head rather than at the feet or just next to an enemy :s

I don’t think the Conc grenades themselves are OP, they do what their supposed do with their slow and blind. The problem is, even if I don’t eat the grenade directly, I’m still eating a 99% slow because the AoE on the grenade is ridiculously stupid. Even if you don’t get blinded Thunder can still kill you anyways because your still a sitting duck, the only difference is that you can shoot him a bit but unlike you, he can still dance around and make himself hard to hit. You have to pretty much take all his bullets

I’d say a -10 HP or AoE nerf would put Thunder in a pretty balanced spot where eating the Conc directly will make you a sitting duck, but avoiding the blind still gives you a fighting chance, currently right now it feels like even if you don’t eat the blind, Thunder can still mop you up with ease.

Ok played some more with thunder and holy shit his concussion nade is good. I win every duel when I can concuss them and it’s so ez with the short fuse time

The problem is that he is annoying because when you are concussed. You can’t move and don’t see anything. So you just wait for the kill and respawn.
At least fragger takes you down quickly. With thunder, you seem to agonise when concussed.
The mk46 need buff and concussion need nerf.
