@SD, i try to understand, why did you make view kick more severe ?

Not gonna lie, i cant comprehend it. Did anyone ask for it ? Did you put it so snipers have a harder time ? (as if adding it to sniper rifles only was too hard) or there is some other VERY important reason for it to exist in the current way.

At this point i dont even enjoy gunfights anymore and i dont think there was even a single positive thing about the change. With that one single change you went back to closed alpha, with all the rng no one wanted.

Now at best i will need to wait for 2 weeks so you tweak it a bit, but knowing you it will still be worse than pre changes, and for what reason exactly ?

This patch was a freaking disaster from so many angles that it pains me =/.

Personally, I enjoy the patch.

I feel gunfights get easier with every patch!

If you add server issues and performance loss, yes its game breaking. You dont have issues ? good for you.

Fact is that now there is more view kick than how it was in the past and i dont think that this change added ANYTHING to the game, as such its a bad change, doesnt matter how small or big it is.

I’ve never seen a side by side comparison gun per gun of view kick now vs past patches.

I personally barely noticed the change.

edit:
Also, why use a clip that shows a person being shot by 2 guns? That really isn’t a good example of how much view kick their is and how much it disrupts aim. The player is being pelted from two angles.

there is less kick from heavy hit in time at least
ie: it affects you for LESS time now

wtf does viewkick have to do with crap servers and your performance loss, get a proper perspective

just add the WORDS “katana” or “viewkick” in a game and reddit comes to a full boil, I don’t give the south end of a north bound rat about reddit scrubs, bunch of wannabe pootubers

viewkick+stuttering feels even worse than just one of them

viewkick is a completely unneeded feature that only serves to lower the skillcap, shooting someone first should only provide the advantage of having shot that person first, and I hope the 86% of people voting for complete removal of aimpunch on the nexon forums is enough to show SD that aimpunch is not a needed or wanted feature.

What this thread have anything to do with reddit, i never said anything about it being gamebreaking in my first post, i only said that gunfights arent as fun as they used to be.

Then you went into hyperbole with your passive-agressive post like you usually do, so i just followed that if you add 2 more problems added with this patch its getting pretty game breaking. Also, while it could affect me for shorter time, its more severe now so i miss more because of it.

Stuttering and dying feels even worse than just one of them. Remove dying.

I agree with the vast majority of people who voted in that poll that aimpunch isn’t a good mechanic. Didn’t care for the shakycam patch change, either.

It’s ‘view kick’ ok? It’s always been ‘view kick’, aim punch is so stupid. Your aim isn’t moved, your bullets still go to the same place regardless of your view being kicked while getting hit.

Sorry bud, your bullets still go forward if you don’t move your mouse when being shot.

EDIT: Though quite happy to get an official statement that says otherwise, but was sure getting shot never changes the trajectory of your aim if you dont physically move your mouse.

getting shot changes where YOUR bullets go. Dev corrected me about this some months ago.

aimpunch is not just a visual thing, like it was in ET
