Scripts bound to maps????

Right i seen a few scripts i.e the “Heron spawn time Script” that you have to select the map you are on at the start of a map and 99% of the time you forget…

Is there no way you can edit these scripts to detect the map you are on, so it auto selects… it must be possible as the map is loaded into your comp :)…

i.e
when you load/start oasis map all your scripts know this and auto change to that… so spwn selectors and timers etc work auto…

etpro has autoexec_<mapname>.cfg

autoexec_oasis.cfg would be the siwa oasis config, autoexec_battery.cfg would be the battery config

it looks for an autoexec_<mapname>.cfg if it dosnt find one is uses the normal one, this is in shrub too i think but slightly different, but im guessing u use ETpro

Thank you… so if you have “autoexec_oasis.cfg” in etmain folder (or does it go etpro folder) it will just load that or it will load “autoexec.cfg” as well?

shrub dose do that searches floor for shrub manual

its g_mapconfigs

must be the same as the map name e.g. fueldump.cfg, its in the manual
