whats the command to wait for 5 seconds?
eg: “echo yadda yadda; pause for 5 seconds; echo yadda yadda”

if its “wait 500”…it screws the game up…anyone know?

the only way to wait is the wait command. The wait command is very weird though, it waits for a certain number of frames. So when you have higher fps, the wait will be shorter, and at lower fps the wait will be longer.

If you can say, keep a steady 50 fps, you could use /com_maxfps to keep your fps right at 50, making wait 100 = 1 second.

Since 43 fps also helps your jumping, I suggest this value, and trying to get ET to keep that value at all times. Then its just a bit of simple math to calculate the waits fairly precisely.

/wait 300; echo done

u end up not being able to move/shoot/ say anything for th next 300 frames

Oh ya, I forgot about that little detail=) Say, if you are strafing to the left, and you start a wait command, you continue to go left untill it ends. =(
