Very early shots of a current project. The fog needs a ton of tweaking and so do most of the buildings - and i havent even started on the lighting - but i think its coming along pretty well.

Yeah I’m worried about the bricks, too - looks cool, but I think you can get away with more ‘blobs’ of rubble. Just tell me those are .ase and I’ll chill.

All brushes. Right now there are no issues with fps at all… but some may develop as i continue to detail the map (hell, i havent even added terrain yet). If that happens, ill re-think the bricks… but ill burn that bridge when i cross it :slight_smile:

It seems we finally get some good looking ET maps. Recents ET releases were all ugly…
So we have a new trend here? with ET release we got a lot of rain in maps, now its fog-time?!

There’s a simple reason all the early maps looked plain/ugly - they were rushed. To create maps as detailed as on the ones on display here takes a long time and a lot of effort and patience - something a lot of mappers don’t have.
