I have done some experiments with mapshots. You can see it here: http://www.quakewars.com.br/map-shots/sewer/mapshot.html
You also can see a shot of the Composed Mapshot HTML Generator here: http://forum.quakewars.com.br/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10

The Arcis page is having problems with IE. Seens the last tile of each line does not fit and goes to the first position on the bellow line.
Donnovan, i can send you all the tiles i have, pm me, i have multiple zoom levels on all standard maps iirc
Thanks a lot pal. But i can generate all of them with the mapshot. What is missing is the info about the map. Like spawn location, obj location, etc… All on a transparent png file that will be localized over the map.
Really nice work Crytiqal. You created the Google Maps Like Code? I was thinking in something like Google Earth, but i believe this technology is not ready for General public usage.

It is not my work, but from sponge iirc.
If you could create the same tiles for other maps then they would be compatible with this script.
Just saying you don’t have to invent the wheel twice :).
You can use google icons or create custom icons to overlay them on geographical cordinates
