hi there i have reinstalled E.T. and installed the v1.02 patch and the linux patch the only prob is when i start my E.T. and i wanna go search for servers my game runs stuck and i get an error can someone please help me!!!

ok i have a gforce4 mx440 the prob is that when ir un my game it get’s stuck i’ve done the 1.02 patch linux server patch upgrade but that aint it and it asks me to send a error report or not then it vanishes that’s all that i get

err I’m confused what OS are you using ?
You’re last post sounds like you have XP ?

Maybe its the PB - Nvidia bug… try installing the old 43.xx detonator
drivers, and try again.

Sorry… operating system, ie Windows 2000, XP, Linux ect

try here for older nvidia drivers

well i have XP home edition but i just reinstalled E.T. and it didn’t work anymore i installed the patch and did the update so what could be wrong? ow and the nivida update didn’t work

I have no ide how (or why) you installed a Linux patch, but maybe you should start all over again?

Uninstall ET and delete the ET folder, then install ET and the 1.02 patch (Win32 version). Nothing more, nothing less.

very strange i did this thousands of times and all of the sudden it now works? hmmmm well thnx anyway :smiley:
