RTCW:ET Server question.

Hey guys,

I am new to the server seen.
I wanted to have my server show body parts flying around when a player is gibbed.

What mod do i need to allow this and how do i set it up?

I am currently running the Linux version of ETPUB 0.6.3 and the players have the client package that comes with it.

I have tried setting the cg_gibs to 1 as well… but no body parts.

Not sure mate, but I’m fairly sure I’ve watched demos on some mod that showed body parts when gibbed. Maybe it was even in etmain? Not sure tbh!

“Messy Gibs” are in etpro and you can use them on Whaleclient as well. The command to enable them in WhaleClient is cg_gibs “1” (That’s a command for the players so you don’t have to set it server side)
Whaleclient can be combined with etpub / shrub / etmain… But you can’t run the etpub client + Whaleclient at the same time, so you should wait for a new release of the Whaleclient, which will probably have the newest etpub client stuff merged in
