i play on my laptop via wifi
the connection is simply amazing(i love wireless N)
but when i attempt to locate games, my connection drops.
now when i use wireless N at school, or at my friends, the games are located, i keep my connection
is my Router just mental? or what? any suggestions?
i haven’t tried to restart the router cos this problem is actually very recent.
try a router reset, if that doesn’t help check for firmware update from manufacturer’s site
try using a kabel connection for once with the same router. That way you can determine if your router IS mental or if it is just the wireless part 
BTW what brand/model do you have?
My router somehow freaks out when I refresh the list of servers from the master server too. I can get all the servers okay, but for ~1minute afterwards I can’t connect to any servers and trying to ping any of them times out.
I’ve not managed to isolate exactly what’s causing it though.
What kind of networkcard does your laptop have?
Cause I’m having troubles with my Intel Wifi 5300 AGN networkcard. I temporarely use a usb-dongle now. But I’ll make use of my warranty from Dell this weekend.
