Who is giving you guys feedback on your balancing decisions before you introduce them into the game? Every update you guys need to “balance” something and end up breaking it; as someone who likes to use kira and skyhammer with the br 16 this update has completely ruined the game for me to the point that i think i’m going to just quit when i find another game to play.

I feel the same. kira is my most played merc, but she is just hopeless now. i just cannot for the life of me figure out why such a devastating nerf was needed. guess there is always Overwatch in till they sort this mess out.

I have disagreed with Splash Damage and Nexon plenty when I felt they made the wrong decision but if anyone agrees with them on something you dislike you dismiss them as a fanboy. That is a toxic attitude and toxicity is what I’d say is wrong with most forums.

I’m getting used to the new burst rifles, but they are significantly weaker in close quarters than before.

Pro tip: If you don’t like a weapon, then don’t use it.

Dude, they are entitled to their own opinion, i mean i certainly dont agree with them, and think the burst weapons are now the worst weapons in the game, certainly the Stark AR, and I hope for the sake of me playing this game again they revert to how they were. but maybe the way the guns work now just fit other peoples play styles. I dunno, but none the less, let them voice their opinion.

If anything, SD should revert the BR-16 with a slight fire rate nerf and keep the Stark the way it is now, so the two guns are actually different than each other.

No man, other way around, more people seem to be okay with the Br-16 ‘change’ than the Stark AR one, I only really care about the Stark AR myself, as it has been my go to gun for everything, gone though 3 cobalt Kiras to get the Loadout I want, and there was nothing wrong about it, the 2 guns felt different to me anyway. Br-16 felt more close range than the Stark AR, but I was able to get a feel for that gun in CQC, it was a hight skill high reward gun, and now it is trash. sorry but what they have done to the Stark AR has killed DB for me. I’m a simple man, Kira with the Stark AR was enough to keep me happy, and now i dont have that.

I dunno, maybe they might consider keeping the Br-16 the way it is, and reverting the Stark AR? At least the guns will certainly feel different from one another then.

But this has really spoiled the game for me. It is my most played weapon, by a very long way. roughly about 75% of my game time is spent playing as Kira with the Stark AR. it is forcing me to play the game very differently… in fact it just made me play with proxy instead. some might say that is a good thing, but why must that be the case? Not to brag or anything, but I was pretty s**t-hot with Kira, and seeing other people play as her is somewhat of a rarity, certainly a very under appreciated merc in my opinion. she wasn’t exactly OP, and whenever anyone accused her of being OP it was due to the Orbital Laser, not once have i had someone say ‘Stark AR OP’ (please don’t go nerfing the Orbital Laser either Splash Damage)

I get that it is still in beta and i gotta suck up to a lot of changes with things that i get comfortable with, but this one is just too extreme, and very confusing as to why it was done in the first place.

I definitely understand your side of things. I have no doubt it’s incredibly frustrating. It’s going to be an incredibly polarizing issue. I cannot attest to the Stark currently as I do not use it.

Not to brag or anything, but I was pretty s**t-hot with Kira, and seeing other people play as her is somewhat of a rarity, certainly a very under appreciated merc in my opinion. she wasn’t exactly OP, and whenever anyone accused her of being OP it was due to the Orbital Laser, not once have i had someone say ‘Stark AR OP’ (please don’t go nerfing the Orbital Laser either Splash Damage)

I guess people who never mastered her don’t understand what this change has done to people who mained her.

It’s impossiple to go toe to toe now, her speed+fast bursts made it work well and if the low mag did run out just swap to pistol or knife to finish the job.

If you go now into CQC you have 1 burst and 2-3 shots with the Pistol.

How the hell did they thing this would work!

For the record my first main was Arty and he is my most used and top merc in my stats with the BR-16 being my 2nd most used weapon in the game with 1.4k kills. So I know what it’s like to be used to this weapon and the mercs who used them before the change. Granted this is once again the BR and not the Stark.

That’s exactly it for me man! not many people played her, and even few mastered her, and it is us who get punished for this.

CQC with the Stark AR was pretty rewarding. in fact it was rewarding to even be bold enough to play Kira as an assault type, get stuck right in the middle of a firefight. and it was very rare to see people play her that way.

One of the best bits about playing as Kira was when someone else knew how to use her, and it would be you vs them. s**t gets personal when someone else plays as Kira, and they are good. ever get that? but most Kira players just hang back at range (like I’m sure they’re intended) but why must we get punished for playing the way we are comfortable with just because we have mastered an under appreciated merc.

It actually angers me how stupid this nerf is.

Out of curiosity, do you use Arty and Kira, or just main the one? because I honestly do feel that guns feel a lot different depending on the speed and sometimes the health of a merc, like the Blishlok for example, I love using that weapon on Aura, she is fast, and the gun is quite slow DPS wise, but you make up for that in evasive movement with her, you jump all over the show, and just be one hell of a ninja, but whereas playing as Bushwacker with the Blishlok i think that gun feels extremely weak. he just doesn’t have the movement to back that gun up. that is of course just my opinion, but a valid point none the less i think. so I’m just wondering if you have tried out Kira since the update, or compared her with Arty since. as i do feel that a guns feel has a large part to how the merc moves, and with such a slow rate of fire for a fast merc, it just feels extremely off.
