Alright i redact form my previus opinion on frager.
after plaiyng for 5 matches i see tha update wasnt that bad.
whiel i cant clear an entrie room now i godd admit the cooldown is pretty comfortable and well since ive got a Godlen fragger card with explogydoom my Nades are as storng as ever so i think it was a good change…

the onyl spammign classes so far are Nader and fletcher, and Satanic Proxys…
Yeah, the grenades are nice kept for groups of enemies… in a 1v1 just use your primary. What’s funny is people think this is a direct nerf, while in fact it’s just a rebalance, not a nerf, not a buff. I will often play a whole match with always only having 1 grenade to use anyway, if I got 2 after the initial period then I’m not doing it right(Need to keep the pressure on them with the frags!) and now it’ll be even easier to do that with the cooldown reduction.
It adds some disadvantages in some situations and adds advantages in others. It removes some spam while adding consistency. As a person who plays Fragger an awful lot the change appears pretty OK to me. I’ll have to actually play as him tonight to really get a feeling for it though and have a true opinion.
There is no nerf, the only disadvantage is that you cant throw 2 nades one after the other in quick succession.
Now, you have to use your grenade wisely, but you get those more often. I don’t see where the merc got killed here.
@Eox I understand that but now fragger si pretty much less effectve than the other asaults.
nader get 5 granades you dont have to cook and gets them faster. then she has her get rekt buton to 1 shot anyone enar you.
proxy gets 2 mine sthat can easily kill Fragger in one blast.

Actually, it’s not the case. Fragger in competitive was pretty much the pilar of the team, and he probably still would be with the new change. Reason ? 150 hp, K-121 is an insane gun, M4A1 is also pretty damn good and you get an insane tool of destruction known as the Frag Grenade, able to wipe a whole team at a chokepoint. Fragger was played everywhere, everytime. I can’t remember a team that actually decided to not use him. His killing potential was insane and still is, he’s just the best at making you go back to your spawn, so much that Fragger is the most played merc until now.
Nader’s grenades in comparison are weaker with a much lower splash radius, and can’t act as an unavoidable massive instakill like the frag grenade. A grenade spam has less impact on the map, especially against skilled players that will be reactive enough to get out of the chokepoint. It they were fighting against Fragger, they just would have popped in a corner it would already be too late. Nader stomps pretty well in pubs, but she’s far from being as effective as everyone tend to say.

Why don’t they just lower his hp, I don’t understand why he has 150hp oppose to others. That’s what makes him powerful and gives him survivability against other mercs.

Guess he means the 120 health, but really Fragger has a faster recharge but one less grenade it sounds like a good sidegrade to what he had before if grenades were seen as too spammy, 15 seconds is nothing if you can stay alive long enough and know when and where to toss a grenade, my only thoughts would be to give him his old lmg instead of the BR-16.
Just like you, Thunder isn’t in the game yet, so I was using Fragger instead.
Honestly, he was so powerful with recoil-less M4, 150 strongk HP, and mini-atom bomb frag empowered by Explodendyron.
He is way too fine compared to Phantom and RedEye. (Even I don’t play those two, I just feel it to my skin. No one plays them.)
Ok…so pretty much, guaranteed a nade at the ready, which I like, but it’s one nade, so you use it, you lose it, also like.
It’s literally like NOTHING changed.
His gun still feels the same, you only get one nade at a time, but if you actually know how to throw them where they need to be, you lost nothing from this update.

I find it kind of funny how you get 50 kills, but still can’t get the combat XP mission in one go.
I wonder if it’s possible to?
