Some simple testing seems to show that the unscoped rifles (engineer and covops, as well as the FG42) don’t gain any accuracy from crouching or going prone. They are all pretty inaccurate no matter what. This seems especially limiting for the engineer rifle, and the covops ones already do less damage when fired unscoped. Even the first shot of the enineer rifle has a pretty wide spread.

yeah, fg42 spread seems pretty suck right now. you can crouch and prone for better thompson accuracy, why not fg42 also.
does the unscoped garand get better accuracy when crouch/prone too?

Dump the FG 42 totally? It’s teh big waste of space. Its the one weapon I really, really, dislike trying to use.

No, that was part of what surprised me, it seems exactly the same, and is NOT very accurate. The pistol is quite a bit easier to hit stuff with.
