ridiculous

Now I know some people have better aim then others that is not what I am talking about.
9.5/10 DB players are just dumb, only trying to frag.

Unless I am the one playing sky there will be NO ammo dropped I will ask 15 times politely for it v22 and they call me whiney for asking for the ammo that I need to carry them. I can’t even count the amount of times I could have won the game by defending c4 if i actually had recieved the ammo i asked for 30 seconds ago.

Same with medic unless me or one of my IRL friends is the medic they will not revive. Had a full team of medics 4 saws 1 aura today and had them ALL running over me trying to kill instead of reviving.

I know it is not difficult so please just give us the party system used for MM to use in casual as there are literally only 30 people that play MM. So it takes hours to find a match.

Play medic and hover around the ammoboxes in the maps. Problem = solved.

hahaha true

(BK201) #4

Then i have the 3 engis that don’t know how to plant or defuse.

(son!) #5

most times you have teammates that either do too little or try and do too much

(CC_FANG) #6

Last time I played I literally had medics standing on top of me not reviving.
It’s so frustrating but not everyone is used to this type of team play. It will even out some, I imagine, as people get more experience with the game. Hang in there! We need players like you to set a good example!

“…in agony…”

(RuleofBooKz) #8

because they made it so all classes can “do everything” (because people’s QQ’s about how roles worked - when it was actually fine but hey “dumbed down” is the new black) u get people actually playing the class best suited to the role just ignoring that role. Like where an engy strolls past dyno and just leaves it up to the medic, “or like whoeva sheeez im busy!” to disarm it because “hey do it yourself”

I think they should make the support classes ALOT weaker then they currently are, so like in TF2 a medic can’t survive without his teamates instead of being able to frag as well as other mercs.

Firstly, this isn’t TF2. Secondly, the medic in TF2 can frag pretty well actually. The difference is the mercs in this game can heal themselves as well as others. The best thing to do would be to nerf their selfheal, not make them weaker.

The result would be that almost nobody plays those classes.

Ever been to an ETPro public server? 8 out of 10 players are pro medics, but good luck getting revived.

This is the nature of public servers, and the more try hards are on the server, the less teamplay you get because everybody wants to be the KDR carry and show off their stats. It may sound counter-intuitive, but I expect this to become better on casual servers as more new players enter the game.

To find teamplay as a try hard competitive player, I think we will have to rely on competitive matchmaking (or playing with our teams to begin with).

Whats funny is the kids that never revive are complete crap at killing as well they dont heal or revive anyone and go negative.

(Diosito) #13

Today I asked for ammo (2 sky and 1 Arty on my team) 10-15 times, even in voicechat, and all of them ignored me, but when I started to deny them health packs and revives then they started to whine. I have to admit, It was gratifying :stuck_out_tongue:

I usually try to do my job and help my team by dropping ammo/health packs and revives, among other things, but sometimes it becomes frustrating.

prob because every level has a few ammo dispensers while the same cant be said for med pax / revives

but yeah when i do go a class that can give ammo im forever just spamming it at my teammates all the time

You realize all the stations are placed far away or out of los of the objective. They did this so you would need ammo packs to gaurd the objective. So many times i lost because i am the only one on my team that can frag and only die when i run out of ammo on both my weapons gaurding the c4.

(einstyle) #16

I always just start knifing them furiously until they happily hand me over the ammo

(Ardez1) #17

This is where the Looter perk can save the day  kill an aura, get a health pack, kill an arty get some ammo.

(artfulSedan) #18

As i pointed out in another thread this game needs an ammo indicator like the one for the medic. Most people don’t even call for ammo that’s why i’m usually just throwing one into everyones face when i pass them even if it’s another field ops. And when they need ammo they don’t use the voice system they jsut shoot at me or stab me.

And yeah i lost battle were we had only one proxy in our team because noone could afford her and that person didn’t even use her. He used skyhammer like 80% of our team x-x

Also since aura and proxy tend to overperform when it comes to close range kills i sometiems see auras running around my base fragging people while healing themselves with their jesus tower.
To be fair… it’s kinda funny when the enemy looses because their proxy was huntign peopel instead of defusing :stuck_out_tongue:

(artfulSedan) #19

OR you could just use V tap 2 and 2 and we knwo that you need some.

(god1) #20

Using the request quickchat thingies should pop an exclamation mark over whoever is requesting something because it’s quite hard to tell where they are.
