we just need a useful minimap. or not even a map but a radar (like in enemy territory)
it made reviving and ammo giving so much easier.
it should just show, teammates, people who need to be revived and people who need ammo at the EDGE of the radar, so that you don’t have to look at it to see it

found an example screenshot. The yellow thing showed up when you used v22.
you always saw that instantly without even looking at the minimap.

in pubs ive seen players basically spam flood the game for ammo - when there were no ammo players on the team. Or they were just around a corner from an ammo map stash or any number of less irritating spam ways they could get ammo.

Ask once. use the v_say. But in the end dont just flood the game for ammo and when u dont get it go sulk in a corner. just suck it up - make the run to the ammo stash and play on.

In the end spamming your team for ammo so you can help your team win but actually distracting and irritating your team with your spam is to crossed purposes

and as a last resort? go the ammo guy and show the team how its done

Again they place ammo cache away from the objective. So man times we lose because we have no ammo to guard the objective and just running away would result in an instant defuse and or plant.

My first 5h in the game have been the opposite. I get heals and ammo every time i ask. I play Aura and the umm… Skyhammer was it? All the time anyways so thats ammo or healt whitout asking.

Stop playing fragger in pubs, just play skyhammer, you’ll have infinite ammo and just the same amount of kills

Most of the time the people spamming voicechat and voice coms are more annoying than people not giving ammo/healing. Personally often insta mute those people whereas the other problem is simply solved by tapping out and respawning or going to an ammo station.

Some people are just ‘touchier’ than others I suppose…

My solution is just be nice. “Hey ‘guysnamehere’, mind tossing out some ammo?” Maybe throw in a buddy or something else friendly and most of the time I not only get ammo but the guy starts spamming it during the round. A lot of times people playing don’t t hink about it until you bring it to their attention and then they suddenly turn into the best teammate ever. Not always the case but it’s the case more often than not in my experience.

I also get ammo from crates based on wave times that I try to keep track of during play. It’s not the best solution but it’s good enough for a public server since you won’t have this issue in MM.
