I have seen these maps on some ET severs, rhine2 and carnage. anyone know anything more about them or where I can get them.

I used to use rtcwfiles but now you need to register or some such crap.

anyway, is rhine 2 finished or just in testing?

I ended up dl off a server at some stupid slow rate!

played rhine 2, its an improvement of rhine with more spawn points.
The bridge gap is wider, and there is no getting trapped behind the gate anymore. :banghead: but it now blows up with a simple shot from 1 grenade!

yeah carnage is the new map I’m working on. It’s 99% completed. I’m trying to have limited players on the beta version in order to avoid having someone release my map as if it were a final…

Is it just me, or is it true that when you load the map on the server, the clients have to download it even if its not being played? I put trainyard on our server yesterday, then when peeps tried to connect to it when it wasn’t even playing that map, they started downloading it.

We also have a pk3 for a 6mission map that everyone downloads when they connect, even when we aren’t playing that campaign!

RTCW didnt do this… Am I missing something?
