Revive Shield?

Everyone mentions BF3 protection here but there is a very important aspect from that game which is left out (at least one that everyone had to be aware of during wars): the millisecond you move or shoot, your protection is off. You can only mouse-look for the 2 seconds after the revive to benefit from protection (and shield your medic). Can’t really say it’s better/worse than the ET shield, but the games have pretty different pacing and getting hold of territory in BF3 is a bit more “persistent” than getting hold of a hallway or choke in an ET push (which succeeds or not).

Camera switching automatically and focus on a friendly medic coming for you would help for being less disorientated when revived, this would also allow for less /kill just before a medic is coming to pick you up.

Thats a must-have feature imo.
Especially on public the team is spread too much atm. this comes from missing spawn waves and unneccerary taping-out, cause you have no feedback from your team if you might get a revive or not.

They don’t though, I’ve had plenty of medics that have sat right on top of me with no enemies in sight and still they don’t revive.

When I ask why the usual response is, “Oh sorry, it looked like you had tapped out.”

Sounds fair enough. Though then the player needs to be aware of his own shield as well. He needs to know whether or not it’s on as he might have accidentally moved.

Ye, took some time and some good anger pages on battlelog, before ppl actually started to “feel” the shielding time. It tweaked the skill curve in the teamwork realm a bit, making both parties involved a bit more aware of the situation.

I think the player should be able to move. They shouldn’t be told when their shield is up either. It is there to assist him so he is prepared to go to battle once again!
