Respawning question...

Hello all,

Game looks fantastic, but I have a question. Can server admins configure the amount of individual respawns each player can have? In my vast online experience, if there is nothing that limits respawns in the round, the gameplay shifts more away from player skill to clock progress w/suicide public players and zergs.

I hope there are plans to support both.

Wolf:ET as well as RTCW supported “Max Lives”. There is a strong chance such feature is already inclided in ET:QW as well.

Err, let me see if I understand this sentence… If it’s included it would mean it’s implemented or would you like them to add code that just doesn’t work? :slight_smile:

Anyway, since very few servers actually run with max lives enabled, I can’t see why it bothers you.

No if its included, its in the game, if its implemented it turned on. ET has got Maxlives included in it though hardly any servers implement it. :rocker2:

I love maxlives. I’m a casual gamer (once or twice a week) and loved going to maxlives servers.
More serious teamplay than just fragfests and artyspamming.
