An early check: Which side is your favourite at this moment?
Resistance vs Security
At E3 I talked about what both sides represent in a few different interviews. Hopefully those’ll be coming on line in the next few days. Between Ed and I, I think we gave at least 60 interviews over the three days.
Right now I feel a little fascist so I’ll go with the Beatdown Forces… sorry Security Forces. I reserve the right be be a double, triple and quadruple agent though (ie team balance).
How many of them were video interviews? I loved how energetic your interview with GiantBomb was!
sorry I want on the big floaty shiney thing and I don’t want it messed up by some dude who can’t keep his boat clean
Security it is
NOW Ger orf my Land:wink:
Btw, I hope the names will stay ‘resistance’ and ‘security’, the simplicity is just too good to hide it behind geeky acronyms or stupid names ending with ‘defense/liberation force’
seems like I missed something. do you have a link?
PS: resistance all the way!
Florisjuh was talking about the interview I did with Jeff G which is up at Giantbomb. There’s a link to it in another thread here (the “interviews cover lots of topics” one).
And to answer your question, Flor, yeah, I lost track of the number of on camera interviews I did over the 3 days. Ed ‘Bongo Boy’ Stern did a bunch as well, and Paul did 1, I think. The main ones I remember off the top of my head were with MTV, MSNBC, thebitbag (really liked that one), machinima.com, but there were so many more. Actually, my favs were the ones where they talked to both Ed and I at the same time (sometimes we got really cramped in the little interview closets). But Ed got all the cards from those, so it was easy for me to lose track of who I was talking to and when.
Oh, I forgot to mention one other, and I’ll apologize for it now. The very first on camera interview I did was with gametrailers, and that one didn’t go well… totally my fault. I was really tired at the end of the first day and ended up waffling around instead of giving clear, concise answers. I really wish I could go back and do that one again, especially since gametrailers is one of my fav sites. Hopefully they’ll be able to edit it together into something presentable! Again, sorry in advance for that one :o

Did you get them to fix the Brink page on their site saying “Developer: Bethesda Softworks”?
Awesome, can’t wait to see them, even the GameTrailers one.
On topic: Security, they get to move cool robots!
I would be security because i like police cars with their nifty patterns and stuff… thats why XD
Hey Rahdo,
The interview you did for giantbomb.com is the best games related interview I saw for a very long time. Not because of the pretty standard questions the interviewer asked, but because he let you talk. And what you said was pretty clear, insightful and makes me want to play this game…now! So basically kudos for that one. (Nevermind about GT, imho they always ask too many useless and weak (mainstream) questions that limit the scope of answers of the interviewed.)
But my choice would be the resistance team of course. The security team obviously is the one with a more authoritarian tendency, like the axis of WolfET, the stroggs of qw…right?
Apropos resistance, does someone know if at some point, the eventual appearance of a Linux executable/installer for Brink is imaginable? I’m sure I’m not the first and certainly not the last who’s asking this nearly impossible to answer question, but it’d be lovely to know if it is at least thinkable? (couldn’t find the question in the Q&A thread and didn’t find anything in articles or interviews yet…)
If you had a competent QA team they could have found that for you before it launched.
