Using the mouse is lame. It gives you a huge advantage over keyboard players. I can’t believe punkbuster allows it by default.

Ifurita: I tried your script, but it did not work the way i thought it would. I guess I haven’t got the “feel” with it, like you do.

I created my own, very simple, by using some of yours

(in my autoexec.cfg I have bind kp_plus exec mg42.cfg"

When the MG42 is deployed I can press ctrl to stand up and get my normal sensitivity. (eg. when blue smoke appears next to me :)) While laying down I can click a to undeploy and then select my pistol with q. (normal sens)

In my autoexec.cfg I have
bind q “weaponbank 2”
bind ctrl “+prone”
bind a “weapalt”
I have not tested it while playing, but I think I have everything I need covered.
What do you think of it?

EDIT:
I tried putting in cg_zoomDefaultBinoc “50” so I could zoom while laying down with the deployed MG42, but it had no effect. When I zoom the binocular effect appears but it does not zoom in.

EDIT2: You should try loading my script and just pressing CTRL. “q for pistol” is displayed twice followed by some wierd numbers.

Why the mouse hate?

If I have a 4 button mouse, does that give me an unfair advantage over Mac users with the 1-button mice? If so, should I just restrict myself to MOUSE1 to level the playing field?
