So SD has to report it’s internal testing results and keep you updated on the progress which is “already” taking more than 2 days?
Chill out dude.
It’s like you never witnessed a game release before. Something WILL brake down even after months of beta testing, thats what patches are for.
Sorry to burst yer ego there about me supposedly not seen game releases but ive prob played more games and seen more releases than you have tbh.
The point i was trying to put across is without proper testing ie beta is that the game gets played on a much larger scale of different pc rigs with loads of different combos of graphics cards, memory, proccy, drivers etc therefore making it easier to recreate MASS problems like the one Nvidia 400/500 cards are having.
If you buy a product as the consumer you have every right to have a fully working product from the word go. If you buy a car that develops a problem the manufacturer would recall to fix the problem right away.
Game companies get the money right away then choose when and who to fix first. Obviously the console market is larger than the pc and easier to fix because all the systems are the exact same so a problem occurs the patch it. But pcs are so different in everyway it is harder to help everyone but when its as large a scale as prob all Nvidia 400/500 range cards having problems then it should be easier to fix.
Tbh i think companies like Nvidia and amd/ati should develope 3 graphics cards instead of all the inbetween ones. They should have a budget, intermediate and high end card. That way game developers for the pc would have an easier time and could make games run in either low medium or high detail refering to each of the three cards. May not work 100% like that but would defo cut down on the mass amounts of different cards that let you squeeze out more fps when really its not needed.
