Removing things of demos

Hello all, i just had a little question, how can i make dissapear the messages like “player1 was killed by player2” or “player1 killed himself”?(specially when i watch a demo)
The command /cg_descriptiveText 0 doesnt work.

Thanks forky, but i d like only to remove the sort of messages i told on the last post, because if i disable 2d stuff i wot be able to see the nametags of each player, and thats what i want, anyway thx for help. Do anyone know that command please? :???:
