It’s called innovation!
remove. all. of. the clutter.
It’s not only confusing for experienced players who know what to do, but also for the noobs! The poor noob can’t see anything, which doesn’t make it easier to get into the game.
Honestly I don’t mind that much, but it annoys me that grenades have this big indicator on them. I’d rather have them sneakier like in QW.
This is becoming really bad for me, especially when i play near the objectives. The markers completely clog up my view, as well as all the additional support notification icons. I expect we will have control over them at some point, but really I think some kind of system that dictates when things show up on the hud would be greatly beneficial. I like glowing objs, using the minimap to mark things out, toggleable obj paths (like glowing lines leading there), etc. The less there is in the center of my screen the better.
who cares anyways, since the nades been practically dumbed/nerfed to non-existence, why bother using them…
Get rid of all the notifications! Play a few rounds of the game and you have everything down. Noobs will figure it out fast. I cant even see my crosshair sometimes!
Lower the spread to 50% of the old ETpro values or just get ride of spread all together. HAHAHAHAHA.
I am already getting sick of play Diablo 3 so this game needs to do something!
Not sure how long it’s been now since we lost nades, but I still press my nade bind to use them then have a brief moment of ‘wtf?’ when one doesnt pop up in my hand.
i keep pressing this button, until im dead.
so the devs would no! thrugh ECHO about my silent protest…
i imagine how someday:
“Hej Anti, you know i found smthng strange in our ECHO data…there is a guy, who keeps pressing his nade button and constantly dies…that is so sad…i mean what have we done, dude??? how could we did this to our loving fans?? lets get those back, for God’s sake!!!”
The amount of thoughtless/effortless damage spam is pretty manageable as is. I support special nades, but in that case they do minimal damage and serve higher purposes. No one seemed to like the idea of creating more comparable skill curves for things that have always been considered spam, so I enjoy having “frag grenades” in more limited amounts.
fragger and concer have pretty unlimited amount of them.
i would love to have
5-7 mercs with different nades, with fixed amount per-life. (2 max)

also the eng with sticky mines, that are really nades
Have to agree with this. I only support the use of special nades, as Inferno mentioned.
Nades are a big need to control areas or stop a group who stick the obj, surprise element is missing, like the last lucky nade to win a map at the last second. Nades bring some tension to, now gameplay is more flat than it was before.
i dont see how, for example, 1 nade per life (or, say a minute cool down) is considered as SPAM. especially if they do less damage than fragger’s ones.
Fletcher’s mines is spam for sure.
The problem before was that each player had about 3 nades each and the spawn time was 10 seconds or so, so you were back with 3 nades to throw quick as a flash (bang). I would rather they increased the spawn time and decreased the nade count that just completely get rid of them for most mercs.
