Reloading the sten while it's overheated...

In wolf you could reload and change weapon when the sten was overheating, but in ET you need to wait until it finishes shaking before you can do anything at all. Very annoying! :angry:

Hope this is a bug and I hope it gets fixed.

You should take damage from burning your fingers if you try to reload while it is overheated :stuck_out_tongue:

I think this is by design. It makes the Sten much more of a steath type weapon where you only engage when you can kill them in that one burst or get really good at finding cover so the weapon can cool down.

Of course, if you spend a little time panzerwhoring or sitting behind an MG42 the Level 2 Heavy Weapon skill completely negates heat buildup with the Sten. You could get that down atleast halfway through the first map and be able to use your Sten for the rest of the campaign.

first of all you should never have to over heat your sten… nor should you let it overheat
